This is how things look: DeWayne Bain has moved up far in the world. He is now the manager of Jack’s Ham- burgers in Alaska. Melvin Busby has entered the political life. He is now mayor of Choccolocco. The pop- ulation there is rapidly increasing because Vicki Heath lives there now. In Vicki's senior year she did not want any children, but now she’s like the old woman who lived in a shoe. She has so many children she just doesn’t know what to do. Wayne Edwards, our rip-off king, is now a multi-millionaire. He is happily married and lives in a mansion in Roosterville. His life consists of eating, drinking and loving. Bobby Holyfield who joined the Army Reserve soon after graduation is now playing on the Gomer Pyle T. V. Show. He still attends his Reserve meetings once a month and the two weeks of summer camp. Carol Hall, our married student has finally set up housekeeping. She also works at Play- tex, where she gets a discount on all her under garments. Doug Snider and Troy Hutto have gone into the farming business together. They work a 20-row field with a 40-row tractor. They also own a few milk cows and pigs. Coach Madden has it made now because he has his own walking Encyclopedia, Jonathan Lovelady. He is principal of White Plains High School. Mike Teague, alias Tall Paul, is the apprentice of Wilt Chamberline. He is working his way to the top. Debbie Jenkins and Tim Brown are now married. They have the world’s largest dairy farm right here in White Plains. They work and live together happily on their farm. Debbie Snider lives in New York and runs a spa for dieters. She is a member of the Women’s Lib. Her husband stays home and cleans the house. One of her regular customers is Diane Ashley. Diane has to stay in top shape because she is a Playboy Bunny at one of the best known clubs in New York. Larry Grimes just happens to own the club. He is still a handsome bachelor. Mary Hood, the quietest girl in our class, has her own thirty minutes on channel 40 T.V. Station. It is called the ’’Quiet Minutes of Our Day.” The T. V. screen is blank. Becky Houck and Marilyn Faulkner have become partners in buying a small business. They have bought Bill’s Drive In. They spent so much money circling the place they decided to buy it and live there. They don’t make much profit from their restaurant but they are still having a lot of fun. Their friend, Shelia Vaughn, who left White Plains to go to college at the University of Alabama, comes home occasionally to boogie and go wild with them, when she can sneak away from her husband. She married one of the old professors at the college so she could graduate. CLAQQ PROPWECV Terry Chandler has recovered from his broken leg and joined the Hell’s Angels Motorcy- cle Club. They finally accepted him after he robbed Faulkner’s Service Station. Sandra Brockmon is now the first woman professional softball player. She sure was good in that sport back in school. She must be a good wife and mother also, because she has a houseful of young’uns. Alicia Wilson has opened up a small sewing shop in Choccolocco. She sews all day while her husband cuts grass at the nearby golf course. Their pastime is fishing and going to Rooster fights in Tennessee. Foster Lester is now a well known Moto-Cross Motorcycle Rider. He travels from Bonnie Brook to Rabbittown each Sunday. It takes him all week to recover from the race, so he spends the rest of his time at Hinton's Store and sleeping. The former Shirley Johnson has moved to Atlanta. She and her husband own a large chain of the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Stores. They have a very profitable business. There is a new singing group in the world today. The Super Swinging Soul Sister Sing- ers. Their first top hit was It’s Great Being Out of School. The singers are Sandy Jones and Martha Chatmon. Roger Nunn can be seen on the Wide World of Sports TV Show each Saturday. He is a Heavy Weight Boxing Champion. His goal is to destroy George Foreman. Pat Smith has always liked dancing so much that she moved to Charlestown, North Car- olina to be a dancer in a nightclub called the Pom Pom Room. This is really a swinging place. Brenda Taylor, the tallest girl in our class is now a top model in New York City, after winning the Miss Alabama Beauty Title. The judges knew to choose her or they were dead. She enjoys her new job very much. Bucky Howell has become the sheriff of Calhoun County. He has cleaned out several of the local bootleggers and gambling places. He walks tall and carries a big stick. Jerome Brockmon just happens to be the sheriff’s deputy. Jerome has done much for our county. His job is to find the mysterious grass growers. Jarvis Sampler is the only one of us who turned out to be really and truly good. He is now a preacher. He goes to churches all over the world. His wife, Ella, travels with him anywhere he wishes to go. Last but certainly not least we can vaguely remember our homeroom teacher, Coach EARL Cleveland. He still loves his footballs and football field. He is getting rather old so the White Plains Quarterback Club is taking up money to have rolling stairs installed next year leading to and from the football field. This way the football team can save energy, they won’t have to carry him. 125 Qfmxyv DIANE ASHLEY Beta Club 4; Cheerleader 1, 2; Choral 1, 3; Miss W.P.H.S. 4; Pep Club 1, 2; Who’s Who 4; Annual Staff 4; F.H.
