Mathematics Department Tests New Course In Analytics This year, the senior math stu- dents at White were the guinea pigs for a new course entitled Analysis 8. This semester course was taught in the spring, opposite trigonometry. The analysis course ' proved to be very interesting and ditterent in that it successfully com- bined aspects of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry. Another new course established this year was Advanced Calculus. While using the same book as Pre- Calculus students, the advanced class worked more rapidly and went further in the book.
