White attended a private showing of Macbeth at the Dallas Theater Center. Faculty and student body alike agreed that the performance was excellent and the fact that they were there as a group made it especially enioyable. The performance of Macbeth was only one of the aids that English teachers used this year. The depart- ment also purchased a tape recorder and record player. In addition, it acquired several sets of records, in- cluding the play Antigone, from which the students could hear the performance of entire selections. BS-NTSU, Soph. Eng. 'R L Fi, . With a larger student body, the ef- ficiency of the office staff was neces- sarily greater and daily tasks were performed with accuracy by these very capable people.
