White was designed for giving each student this advice in the most effi- cient way possible. The homerooms were divided among the counselors according to number, so that each counselor handles sophomores, juniors, and seniors. In this way, the counselors handle not only schedule difficulties, but are also avail- able to the students to discuss college and career possibilities, thus letting each student have the information he needs.

Mr. Golden is mostly a hehind-the-scenes mang but, although he is continuously busy, he still finds time to become acquainted with both the faculty and the student body. As a former coach, he takes an active interest in all sports events.
