Mr H. D. Pearson Excellence is the key word to knowing the man who is the principal of Warren Travis White High School. And, indeed, our principal, Mr. H. D. Pearson, is a man of excellence. ln academics and extracurricular activities Mr.. Pearson has gone far above the level of average. He is, above all, a man of deep dedication, loyalty, and wisdom along with spirit, a sense of humor, and amazing tactfulness. Mr. Pearson is a man who is deeply and sincerely interested in the youth of today-a man who realizes problems and understands. He is a man who demands excellence because nothing but that most profound quality is enough for the world of today.

Mr fohn C. Marshall, fr. When considering major factors in the successful running of a school like Warren Travis White High School, one immedi- ately thinks of a man like Mr. John C. Marshall, Jr., our as- sistant principal. Mr. Marshall is a man who gives all the time he has when he is needed at the school. lt is most probable that he spends more time doing 'gschool-workl' after hours than almost any student spends doing homework. But somehow, in spite of meetings andlspecial problems, he is almost always there when he is needed by a student or a faculty member and is ready and able to help with any and all problems. Mr. Marshall is a man of wit and wisdom who is indispensable to our new school.
