1939 1935-36 This was the freshman year of the class of '39. Although termed greenies its members led the honor roll of the school for two six Weeks' periods, placing 40 on the list of honor students. The class had no organization, yet it was outstanding in both inter-class athletics and social activi- ties. EI2lf'l HAT If DIE l936-37 Pls sophomores, the class of 1939 chose beauteous and smart Martha Stewart as president. In this second year, the class distinguished itself by leading the school With top scholastic honors and by the presentation of several novelty dances.
