Tenth graders are sort of in-betweenersf' Theirs is not the excitingly new world of the Freshman, or the world of Senior privileges, even Juniors seem glamorous to the average Sopho- more. The Tenth Grade is an important year, how- ever. The fields elected in the Ninth Grade are continued by each student, or new fields are chosen if the first year's courses proved a mis- take. There is also an exciting required course - biology. Each student has the once-in-a-life- time chance of dissecting his own frog. lAll Sophs have that formaldehyde aroma ll . . M., Q31 '- .. 'I sn fX Sophomore English classrooms ring with Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears! as ardent Shakespeare students declaim Mark Anthony's famous speech from Julius Cae- sar, that faithful companion of every tenth grader. This year's Tenth Grade had an exciting time outside of class, too. Although the Class was organized rather late, once officers were elected things rolled along merriIy. The year's high- lights were a dance in March, a trip, and a Class party. The Sophs even chose colors to make the Class more distinctive. The colors chosen were lavender and white -- elegant, no? SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS AND SPON- SOR1 K. Glover, Mr. Yoskovich lSponsorl, D. Williams, T. Endo, A. Ober.
