The Majorettes, under the direction of Miss Mary Jo Whidden, have been one of the high- lights of 'Wheaton's football games for the past two years. Late in l956, Mrs. Helena Mc- Namara replaced Miss Whidden as sponsor of the group. The girls marched in local parades, display- ing remarkable precision and teamwork. ln their attractive white costumes, braided with gold, the girls made a pretty picture as they marched and twirled their batons.
