SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY We saw the McGuire boys, jim and Leonard. These boys have just found a new vein of uranium in South Texas. They're going to auction it off to the highest bidder. Lila Davis, the sheriff of South Texas, said she and her deputy, Vic Sommers, were having quite a time controlling the Uranium Rush of 75. The entertainment of the evening started off with a bang. First on the program was the Singing Sals. This was a western quartet made up of tenors, Dixie Shelton and Betty Graves, baritone, Squeaky Cancinog and bass Jodie Turney. These gals bare company starring in a new western movie with singing star, Bob Tex Davis. Next on the program was Charlotte Edminston and Donna jo Collins. They entertained us with a couple of musical numbers. Charlotteiplays the violin and Donna Jo the mouth harp. Their duet is quite a success. Next to appear on the program was the new sensational dancing team-Mary Ann and Rog-Of course we all recognized Roger Williams and Mary Ann Steeley, but Mary Ann had grown at least ten inches. Then we noticed she was wearing a pair of elevated shoes by Vogt. Darrel is a Manufacturer of women's elevator shoes. There was a twenty minute break in the program while Bullockls Swing Notes set up the stage and warmed up. We wandered around looking for a few more facts when we saw Ethel McCallum and Velma Lewis involved in deep conversation. It seems these two are partners in the manufacturing of lunch meats. They're the only two manufacturers of lunch meats to be awarded the Lousy Housekeeping Seal of Rejection. We thought we had our case almost completed, still it seemed as if we had missed something. Suddenly we heard a lot of commotion and laughter in one corner. We went over to find most of Hohnholt's crew, this is what we'd missed. Upon investigating this is what we found: Betty Jane Fish, who has revolutionized the industry of canopeners by perfecting a zipper in the tops of cans was the center of attraction. It seems she was telling Bud Hohnholt, now bartender of Uva and also manufacturer of dentless cars for high school kids, about her new noiseless beer cans. Non-believing, but listening we find Tuff Phillippi clutching his famous product, Keg of Mom which is a by-product of Can of Pop. Tuffy has just recently finished a course of love techniques under Clark Gable. Attired in dark clothing and dark glasses we see Doris Mitchell, who has just perfected her invention of flash- lights for blind people, telling Arnie Hanks of her home for broken-down cowboys. Arnie had just finished telling Doris of his special shoulder holster for police dogs. Now another nationally known figure, Bob Swan, comes to the center of the group. Bob manufactures leak-proof sheep wagons, but before he could tell us anything about them in stomped Virgie Tyree, world renowned rodeo cdntrac- tor. From the top of her new purple hat to her 16 in. top green and yellow boots, we could see that Madison Square Garden had been profitable this year. Over in the far corner we found, among the cob webs and bright lights, none other than Silent Sid talking to Lauretta Howe and'Dick Marker. Laurie is the manufac- turer of rip-proof-bounce-proof-blister-proof-levis. She also designs Tee Texas Tiddlewinker's western shirts. Dick is in South Africa teaching the Amazons the great game of ping pong. His team is becoming quite famous. We went over by the refreshment table in hopes of find- ing something cool and soothing to drink. We found Carol Perkins giving away samples of her famous drink, Perk's Perk-up Pop. Couples were crowding the dance floor, dancing to the rhythm of Don Bullock's band. It was then we noticed the famous flute soloist Toots Fresorger. When Toots isn't playing in concert halls she plays in Bullock's band. Due to her flute, his band has that different quality. To complete the evening, the country's newest crooner, Don Lawrence, sang the old school song On Wisconsin. Don is scheduled to appear before the Crown Prince of Lower Slobbovia sometime next week. We now had all the facts so we put them together. and completed our case.

SENIOR CLASS PROPHECY This is Saturday Night, and my assistant, The Morning After the Night Before. ' The prophecy you are about to read is true, only the page should be turned to protect the eyes. The date is May 11, 1975. The chief assigned us to a 313 raid on Seek's Pool Hall. We dashed in to find a small mob and a large riot. After investigating the facts, we found it was the Class of '54 reunion. We started to gather all the facts and complete the case. First we interviewed a small group by the first billiard table. Here we found Senator Darlene Nagel and Gover- nor Jim Stugart airing their political views on the ap- pointment of Neil Stevens as ambassador to East Texas. Also engaged in this delightful conversation was cousin Larry Stugart, now the well-known author of children's nursery rhymes. ' To our right stood three heavily bearded men. Upon further observation, we discovered under all the brush Hot Lips Larry Rosentreter, home from the hills of Alaskag Smooch Pearcy, the great romanticist whose lat- est picture is All About Love. The third member was Professor Dave Luck, famous for his scientific achieve- ments. Dave's first interest in science appeared in the eighth grade when he played-the leading part in the play, Splitting the Atom. Over at the refreshment table stood some of WHS's athletes. Upon investigating the facts we found Sheep- herdin' Louie, alias jay Waitmang Larry Adams, who sneaked out of the house leaving his little woman at home with their twelve kids and the dirty dishesg Dex Howe, the president of Otis Dexter Howe III's Fancy Fertilizer Inc., the by-product of Herdin' Louie's herdg Tony Weber, who is now composing another moving operetta, Custard's Last Standf' Hidden by the tall boys stood short Tim Mylet, the mail carrier of West Texas. They were all standing quietly listening to boast- ful Ed Chase telling of his farm where he raises midget guppies. . - On the south wall we noticed the new family sized TV screen, 12 feet 3 inches by 17 feet 5 inches. A commercial came on and we were surprised to see Mary jo Ballard and Frances Feighny Shepard advertising Baker's Beauti- ful Bath Perfume, which is manufactured by a former member of the class, John F. Red Baker. After the short a news reel was shown. We heard a long talk by the Kentucky Derby winner, Jim Black, who rode N0 News to a new record. They say jim won over 51,000,000 riding an old milk wagon nag. Next over the air was Ella Mae Parsons and her Romeo Ramblers coming from Nashville, Tennessee. Ella Mae's program is sponsored by Donna Brooks' sensational new product, Chew Chew, the chewing tobacco for women. Television isn't quite the same as it was when we were kids due to Lowell Schneider's inventing 3D technicolored television, ten years ago. Lowell also sponsors three TV shows: Esther's Easy Ediblesj' Esther Beisner's cooking program, and Doc Corman's children's program, Time and Rhyme with Mama Goose. We saw a very distinguished looking gent standing by the pool tables. We recognized him to be none other than Larry Miskimins, the famous snooker shark. He told 'us that his twin, Lois, was married and living in the Ozarks raising kids. Talking to Larry, were two women, Joann Walter and Donna Rae Stumbough. These ladies own a fabulous beauty salon for men in New York. They claim to have a hair tonic that will grow hair on a peanut. We noticed Janet Rhoades wearing her Marcian outfit. Janet is a well-known jet pilotg her co-pilot is Loretta Whinery. These two have made millions flying people to Mars and to the moon. Promoting these trips is Viola Montoya, the jet plane manufacturist. One of the topics of discussion was about the election next fall. Arleene O'Bryan is trying for reelection to the' Presidency of the U. S. Arleene's first man in the U. S. is Cuzin Melvin Wright. The Municiple elections are next fall, also. Running for Mayor of Uva is Norma Martins. Norma will undoubtedly get the nature-loving people's votes, as she has a home for Wingless butterflies and blind ants. Her opponent, Shirley Delozier, will probably obtain the businessmen's votes as she has built up quite a busi- ness selling her electric pogo sticks, that jump automati- cally.
