Look Back And Now Follow A life of dedication and hope. A life of teaching and of giving. A quiet spirit — but determined. A shadow cast that is of the living. A power of example and faith, From the Old School train of thought. Steadfast, caring and unselfish. A real human being with values He exemplified and taught. He is gone now — and now means forever. But his presence will always be felt amongst us all. A presence that will glow with great promise. A presence that will be there to answer the call. So remember Dick for the good times and this promise. Not for the great sadness that now appears. Look back and now follow. And remember how much he gave through the years. James M. Front: Jill Kelly, Maureen Blanchard, Ellyn Donovan. Student Counci The most active and least heard about activity is a position as a class officer. They deal with all of the major needs and interests of the school. Their concerns are as follows: fundraising, arrangements for entertainment, political concerns, dealing with the activities of the school, voicing the opinion of the school in general (for instance, supporting the Students Against Drunkdriving program) and worrying about all of the important issues that involve the entire school. Our choices for class officers reflect our confidence in their ability to keep things running smoothly and they have outdone themselves in every respect. As seniors we prepare to leave familiar surroundings and enter into the world as adults. We leave behind the joy and the laughter as well as the sorrows and pain that we felt during the time of our education. Soon high school will be nothing more than a faded memory. Our yearbook will give us a clearer image of what high school was, especially life as a senior. We can remember forever, through the pages of the yearbook, just what it meant to spend three years at Weymouth North High School — the sports, the clubs, the activities, the school spirit as well as all other aspects of high school life. Without the dedication and enthusiasm of the yearbook staff, none of this would have been possible. Long hours of hard work resulted in a finished product of which we can be proud. Captured in these pages is the essence of high school and its people. Forever cherish this book as a link to the past — a memory of the people who were our family and the school which was our home for three years of our life. Patty, Linda, Jeanne and Irma enjoy their work. 155 160 161 FOOTBALL Bottom row: Antonowicz, Noble, Joyce, Powers, O ' Molley, St. Croix, Shaw, Doherty, Ketchen, Waithe, Gosselin, Damery, Melville, Beard, Boudreau. PLATT President E C FOWLER INSURANCE AGENCY, INC 1310 COMMERCIAL STREET EAST WEYMOUTH. MASSACHUSETTS Q2189 IS YOUR INSURANCE A SECRET AGENT? You know what we mean. A guy you hardly know guy who works for a cold, impersonal outfit in some faraway city How could you know him 7 He doesn ' t have time to visit his clients (which is rather mysterious considering he never seems to be in his office when you have a claim). That ' s a secret agent But when your agent is one of the Big I Guys, you do know him and he knows you. Because instead of bieng like a good neighbor. he is your neighbor-living and working right in our town. He doesn ' t work for a company He works for you. He helps you choose the right policy from the right company at the right price. And he ' s always available with answers, advice and service on your claims So if you ' re tired of doing business with a secret agent, get to know the Big I Guys at your local Independent Insurance Agency.
