After putting together halftime show after halftime show, they performed with pride and precision during the football season. In November, the Pride entered the Pride of Dixie marching contest in Prattville, and was elated when the band received a Superior rating. The band also had the honor of leading Wetumpka's Christmas parade to kick off the Christmas season in our city. After football season the band began work on concert music and made plans for a possible trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee to enter another contest. They also entertained an enthusiastic crowd at home with a successful Spring Concert. 81
