Mr. Warrior Dewayne Bowe Dewayne was selected the 1985 Mr. Warrior by the student body. He has contributed more than his share to WHS in the way of athletics. While lettering 3 years in football, he has run for a total of eleven touchdowns, six of which came in his senior year. Dewayne says the most significant play of his high school football career occurred when he ran the 21 trap against Clanton in the 5-A State Playoffs. He has also represented WHS well in weightlifting. In 1984, he won the honor of best lifter in the 138- 181 pound division. Dewayne is a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He is the son of Ms. Mattie Bowe. His future plans are to join the Marines and study engineering. 1 19

Robyn Spivey Roby Spivey, Miss Warrior 1985, was a good choice for this honor. She has been active in school affairs for the past four years. Her hobbies include playing the piano, reading, and traveling as FBLA State President. She is also a member of the Beta Club, Chorus, and a former member of the WHS Band. Outside of school, Robyn enjoys working and spending time with her parents and two brothers. Her favorite class is Business Education. She plans to major in Business Administration and Elementary Education at AUM. Robyn's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Howard Spivey. 18 Miss Warrior
