Terry Jones Terry has been a member of the Varsity Basketball team for three years. His plans for the future are to attend Alabama State University majoring in Art. In band, Susie is a former member of the Flag Corp and serves as Co-captain of the Majorettes in her second year on that Corp. During concert season she plays the flute. A g ,iv ' ' s r Steven Holt A very active student, Steve is a member of the Beta Club, Science Club, National Honor Society, Annual Staff, and Who's Who in American High Schools. He has lettered in Varsity football for three years playing defensive end and offensive guard. He was recently selected as a part of the All-County football team. Senior Jeff Strickland As H47 on the Varsity Football team, Jeff has served as a defensive back, receiver, and split end over the past three years. He is also the third baseman on the Indian Baseball team. Jeff hopes to be able to play baseball in college next year. At WHS he is a four year member of the Beta Club and is currently serving as Vice-President of the National Honor Society. His favorite subject is Analysis. He was selected as Senior Beau and was selected for the All-County Football team. Lynne Rodgers Having been a Varsity Cheerleader for two years, Lynne received a U.S. Achievement Academy Award for Cheerleading this year. She is a Senior Beauty, a member of the Spanish Club, Beta Club, and NHS. She has also been a member of the Volleyball and Girls' Basketball teams for four years. Her hobbies include water skiing, softball, and doing the Hula. Lynne's plans for the future are to attend A.U.M. and major in Math. 112 James Mack James is a Senior Beau, a member of the Beta Club, NHS, FCA, Typewriting Experte, and the Varsity Basketball team. Senior Marietta Hunt Cheerleading has been a big part of Marietta's school years. She was a Junior-Varsity cheerleader for two years and has been a member of the Varsity Cheerleading squad for three years. This year she is the Co-captain of the State Champion squad. She has played Volleyball for three years also. She is presently a member of the Art Club, and also selected for Who's Who Among American High School students. Marietta is planning to go to the University of South Alabama to major in Psychology. Cathy Crumly Cathy has been very involved in Wetumpka High activities. During the past four years, she has been a member of the Beta Club, NHS, Annual Staff and Science Club. She has been a past President of the Beta Club, Vice-President of Science Club, and is presently serving as Senior Class President. Aside from being chosen Miss Homecoming, she is also a Senior Beauty and a member of the Varsity Cheerleaders. This is Cathy's fourth year as a Class Favorite. 114 Centell Jackson Centell has been involved in WHS basketball for four years, and this year he serves as Co-captain of the Varsity.
