Science Club sei? The purpose of the Science Club is to enhance the student's awareness of science. This is a very active group at WHS. As one of the oldest Beta Clubs in Alabama, chartered on May 5, 1938, the WHS club has throughout the years been instrumental in accomplishing these ideals at our school. Each six weeks the Beta Club compiles and publishes the Honor Roll for grades 9-12. Other Beta projects include the annual chess tournament, and recognition of the faculty during National Education Week and at Christmas.
