CHANGES THROUGH TIME A group of frightened, but eager Freshmen on the threshold of the four biggest and perhaps most important years of our lives: this is what we, the graduating class of 1978, were in 1974. High school at last! We elected our class offi- cers, President-Jason Schall, Vice-President-Bar- bara Dees, Secretary-Vicky Mason, Treasurer- Cathy Jennings, Class Cheerleaders-Rhonda Brewer, and Samantha Willis, Sergeant-at-Arms- Kathleen Conrad. Our advisors were Doug Peake and Pauline Broyles. Julie Oliphant was our Homecoming Frosh. Princess. As Sophomores we could proudly walk with the rest of the High Schoolers and laugh at the antics of the incoming Freshmen and wonder if we acted like that. Our advisors were Doug Peake and Pauline Broyles, President-Vicky Mason, Vice-President-Jason Schall, Secretary-Susan Lo- catell, Treasurer-Cathy Jennings, Class Cheer- leader-Mike Hamilton, Sergeant-at-Arms-Ruth Gonzales. Cathy Jones was our Sophomore Home- coming Princess. Here we are already Juniors with the guidance of our advisors Will Wright and Ruth Brydon, President-Keven Morlang, Vice-President- Vicky Mason, Secretary-Jeannie Wehrheim, Treasurer- Cathy Jennings, Student Council Rep.-Tony Gra- ham, Class Cheerleaders-Debbie Sampson and Anita Gonzales. Susan Locatell was our Home- coming Princess. “Tunc in a Bottle” was the theme of the Prom. It was decorated in baby blue and dark blue. The band was Pleasure Wheel. Finally our Senior year! Officers were Presi- dent-Don Biggs, Vice-President-Jeff Jedynak, Secretary-Vicky Mason, Treasurer-Cathy Jen- nings, Sergeant-at-Arms-Robert Garcia, Class Cheerleaders - Pam Hurt and Mike Hamilton, Student Body Representatives-Devin Sheehy and Duane Warren. Will Wright and Ruth Brydon were our advisors. Our queen for 1977-78 was Pam Hurt and the king was Devin Sheehy. Many of our classmates have left us, but those that have continued are proud of our achieve- ments. In the many years ahead we will always remember Senior pictures, Senior slave day. Homecoming and all the other School activities. And now as we leave another graduating class we will always be remembered by the many friend- ships and good times we had at Westwood High. The graduating class of Nineteen Hundred and Seventy Eight.
