' Take Five Fall brought the excitement of school spirit and the thrill of not having to eat lunch at home everyday. Many adjusted to both these excitations by eating in the spanking new Chieftain Chow Palace. The construction was completed in I984. but the finishing touches were barely finished when the school year started. The colorful, graphic wall mural was designed to display Westwood's tradition of excellence in every field. Students feasting in the cafeteria also enjoyed a bit of culture in Westwood's art museum. Still others preferred dining at such places as MacDonald's, .lack in the Box and Burger King. Re- gardless, all students enjoyed the precious fourty-two minute lunch break. Everyone looked forward to the weekend breaks in the fall of l985. Many participated in school functions. Spirit reached an all-time high as students wore blue and orange. bought spirit buttons, and released balloons at the football games. Atten- dance at school dances soared to record-breaking level Stu- dents enjoyed every break from their rigorous studies. Num. nv .u .mtaw SNS-,NK N. Ks at X l ff, u
