Opening Assemblies Generate Enthusiasm The Hello assembly was a phenominal success. Student Coun- cil put on a humorous and somewhat dramatic skit trying to satirize what every sophomore goes through before his first dance at Westwood. The spirit ambassadors delighted the stu- dent body and faculty by presenting awards won during spirit camp over the summer. The football team was introduced and gave an enthusiastic War Eagle yell which undoubtedly put the crowd in a frenzy! The Curtain Time assembly proved once again that Westwood has extraordinary talent in every aspect of the entertainment field. That incredible band Turn of the Century rocked Shepherd Auditorium to an almost unconcious state of beingl The Fat Boys rapped and ate their way into the hearts of sophomores and pudgy people everywhere. Lori Box ex- pressed her undying love for an unknown hunk, while perched delicately upon the golden crescent above the stage. The Honor choir sang l Can 't Fight this FeeIing with such emotion that everyone in the audience remembered his first love.
