THF BIG THREE Seniors from A to D invited for after-dinner coffee at End-O-Lane, and we go again to share the wonderful hospitality at Master james'. Who can forget his friendly smile, the Meeting handshake, and more than these, his deep concern for high standards, and his personal inter- est in the individual student. Each of us leaves West- town with rich memories of our association with our head- master, James Walker. Come on, faculty! .... Tell me later, I don't have my little black book .... Pep talks in collection .... A definite bent for plaids and founder of Tam-O-Shanter Day .... Remember? Teacher Rachel, Girls' Dean and petite advocate of women's rights, has done a fine job of keeping West End in line. With enthusiasm and wisdom she has worked to keep her half of the school on an even keel. Master Bob- and we recall the psychological soccer coach, the information center for the college question, a big grin and a sense of humor fthose punslj. More serious- ly we thinkof the capable and understanding way in which he,as Dean, has managed Boys' End,and of the liberality and interest he has shown in student projects. We leave Westtown with a sense of the great part these three have played in our lives, as our teachers, our ad- visors, and our friends.

When we have been over exuberant they have calmed, us down, and in our mid-winter fits of melancholy they have cheered us up. They have given up much of their time to help us with an extra hard algebra problem or that Latin phrase that we couldn't translate.
