ELLEN RHOADES Ellen was born in Boston in 1919. As a mem¬ ber of the class since the second grade, she has contributed much to our musical reputation. She plays the bugle and the clarinet, and was the effi¬ cient and cheerful accompanist of the operetta, ALL AT SEA. She portrayed a witch in a scene from MACBETH, was in the cast of BIG HEARTED HERBERT, and did a fine piece of work in ENTER THE HERO. Ellen is returning for a post-gradu¬ ate course. After that she hopes to continue her study of music in college.

JANET SUMMER “Jan,” well-known for her laugh and her far-fetched puns, was born in Providence, Rhode Island, November 25, 1919, and joined our class in the third grade. She has acted successfully in two plays, THE SWAN—in which she played the lead, and BIG HEARTED HERBERT. She has been in the Glee Club for four years. Her hobbies are singing jazz, dancing, acting, and all sports. Her ambition is to be a blues singer. Smooth sail¬ ing to her!

ARMANDO BENOTTI “Art” was bon in Stony Brook, Weston, in 1915. He has been with us almost all of our school days. t “Art” is without doubt our outstanding athlete. He j has proudly earned his letters in football, bas- i ketball and baseball. For five years he has lent his deep voice to the Glee Club and taken part in many i musical productions. We shall always remember him as the high-stepping sergeant of police in ALL AT SEA. With his friendly personality, he is sure to succeed.
