The education department carefully selects and educates qualified, Christian young people as teachers. Approximately one-third of the students are education majors at the general elementary or secondary levels. The future teachers spend one semester under a master teacher in various schools in Southern California. In the psychology department either the professional or ap- plied training is provided. Basically the courses are non-tech- nical and established for those not desiring to enter graduate schoolg other courses are recommended if graduate school is the goal.
