Science is truth. Science is an evaluation of facts and an insight into their meaning. It is an attitude, a quality, a way of thinking. It is pure theory and at the same time it enters into our everyday existence as a way of life. Science is an individual ex- perience with each person. M Ralph Berninnoni James Bono Jerry Blanks Carolyn May George Young F M usic The music department is designed to best instruct all of those students who are interested in the fine arts. The subjects are varied to include those students interested in vocal instruction, from the girls' glee and mixed chorus to the A Cappella choir for the more advanced student. The instrumentalist is taught in classes of band and also by competitive marches and parades. Courses offered for those students showing an interest but not necessarily planning a career in music are such classes as music appreciation. The purpose of the music department is primarily to allow those students with an interest of talent in music to enlarge this interest or talent through advanced study.
