anim' Varsiyf To Become The Senior Varsigf The junior varsity finished the sea- son with the enviable record of seven wins and one loss. They wound up the season with an unofficial championship of the Adams-Arapahoe League. Sparking the offensive team was john Red Walker aided by Ron Arter, Gary Henry, Bob Schmidt, Art Lehman, and Gene Neilson. The backfield was strongly supported by a powerful line made up of Ron Stubbs, Dick Green, Darayl Organ, Ken Rutt, Dale Camblin, Steve Crummet, Bob Bigham, Al Haxton. Not to be outdone by the offensive Blankinship, Red Rockwell, Dick Olivarez, and Mike Burke, with Gene Nielson and Tiger Hastings in the backfield. Others contributing to defensive success were Don Suerer, Larry Montez, Larry Priest, Louis Pappas, while backfield men like Ron Layman, Sam Nash, Larry Weingart, PeeWee Kubat and Butch Barker rounded out the powerful defensive unit. Most of all, according to coach jim DeBell, was the ability to work toget- her as a team. It is always a distinct pleasure to work with this calibre of boys. unit, the defensive team pulled all stops. On one of the hardest char- ging lines in the league were jim BACK ROW LEFT TO RIGHT: Coach Blanks, Rutt, Sines, Stubbs, Rockwell, Hastings, Bigham, Organ, Neilson, Pappas, Haxton, Arter, Camblin, Priest, Blankenship, Nash.
