Propheizy-- Sneak Preview The streets were crowded and the lights bright as everyone rushed toward the theatre which was featuring My Three Angels . Everyone looked so familiar, but why wouldn't they, for this play was honoring the senior class of 56 who had presented it so well a decade before. The first ones seen by all were Ed Almquist and Richard Broa who had constructed the theatre and attended every performance. Taking tickets were Muriel Atkins and Gloria Schneider. Behind them, counting money was Manager Barry Olderman. Soon Judy Cunningham arrived in a new sports car driven by an able mechanic, Dale Elgin. Judy was the President's secretary, and said she bought her new car from Ken Romick. There were several conventions which we attended. One was the Bakic Engineering Company, headed by Bob Bakic. With him were Ron Wagar, Bob Lane, Jim Baur, Bill Shollenberger and Art Gudde, Another was the National Association of Able Secretaries. These included Jean Maier, Doris Krebs, Beverly Baker, Gretchen Alberts, Joan Barth, Janice Prok, Martha Simpson and Jean Kashi. Seated in the front row was Don Jenkins, the producer, He was sur- rounded by his private secretary, Joan Rush, his writers, Carol Keeling and Lynn Hale, and a stenographer, Marlene Piper. Near them were five famous clothes designers, Larry Schwartz, Wilma Jent, Nancy Bohr, Jean- nette Grande, and Lisa Brachos. Found backstage were Karen Thompson and Mike Clancy, voice teach- ers, going over some last minute diction with the cast. Standing near them were Betty Henning and Debbie Nemeth, beauticians. The orchestra began to warm up. lts outstanding director was Allen Teschner. Leading clarinetists were Lou Ann Williams and Adair Miller. Helping the people to find their places were four pretty usherettes, Sallie Whitely, Diane Newell, Pat Smith, and Kay Slack. The audience grew silent as the lights dimmed, but suddenly they flickered and brightened again. Ron Schneid, Joe Williams, Bob Zothner and Jim Janz, the lighting technicians worked quickly to fix them. The orchestra began to play and the curtain opened. Pat Popvich, the leading lady, and Frank Sciangula, her leading man, started the show on its way. Before long they were joined by Colleen Griffin, Jerry Battenhouse, Dick Puzzitello, Jce Balsamo, Betsy Power, Dick Demaline and Joanne Bourne who worked hard to make the show a hit. The scenery was beautiful and many commented on the wonderful job Gail Foster and her able scenery men, Bob Kalapis and Dan Reehorst had done. When the final curtain had fallen, Don Jenkins, producer, Pete Nau- mann, director, and Bob Heiser, who was in charge of photography, received great recognition. Roald Anderson, Ed Souhrada, Roger Schneideriet, and Tom Trakas, a group of servicemen, had received their passes too late to attend the per- formance. Almost all the class of 56 has been accounted for except for five who were doing their duty for the world. These were nurses Barbara Eskins, Marilyn Bailey, Margie Clouse, Carol Belosky and Judy Bender. Once again, My Three Angels has been recorded as a great hit. We should be very proud of all seventy members of the class of l956, for they have proved themselves a successful and wonderful group during the past ten years.
