SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS . Geoff Christoff treasurer, .lanet Biesemeyer, vice-president, Jim Hofmann, president, Patty Herbig, secretory. Six years ago, the present senior class entered the school as frightened, bewildered seventh graders. That first year was chaotic, with only the academic wing of the building finished and construction continuing from September through June. Assemblies were held in the halls, lunches were eaten in homerooms, and our 'library' was housed in the present A-V room. During the next couple of years, Westhill's character began to develop. Our class had a hand in the formation of traditions that have lasted. We voted for a team name-- the contest was between our now-famous 'Warriors' and the 'Westhill Zephyrs.' After initial defeats, the school finally approved a constitution for the student council. We have participated in the first Moving-Up-Day, the first singing of the alma mater, the first dress-up days and the first school dances at Westhill. This June, our class will take part in another 'first'-we will be the first graduating class to have passed through all six years at Westhill. The class of '67 is able to look back at high school with the knowledge that we have helped to form the character of our school.

Westhill Student Council As a class, this year's Seniors have accomplished many things. Although you have had many obstacles to overcome that previous senior classes haven't, you have come through with an effort that has proved most worthwhile. But what's more important, you have accomplished a great deal as just plain students . You are the ones that kept order in the cafeteria. You are the ones that led our athletic teams to respectable showings in a new, tougher league. You are the ones that are primarily responsible for the success ofStudent Council and all the other activities within our school. In fact, you are responsible for the general atmosphere at Westhill this year. As you are responsible for Westhill's many successes, you are also responsible for some of Westhill's failures. We hope you look back upon these failures not bitterly, but with the hope that through these failures we have all learned something. Student Council was more than just the Senior Class. Many underclassmen did a great amount of work in Student Council. More underclassmen were involved in Student Council than ever before. But the primary reason for this involvement is the guidance that this year's Senior Class has given the rest of the students at Westhill. This has led to an atmosphere that Westhill has needed in the past and needs more of in the future. When you look back on your senior year, we hope you will deem this your most important accomplishment. We take this opportunity to thank and congratulate you for doing more for Westhill in one year than any preceding class. Patrick Corrigan, President Jean Sauda, Vice-President Patrick Bunn, Secretary William Christy, Treasurer
