Student Council The Student Council is the governing body of the school. The main duty of the council is to discuss matters of problems concerning the school or the students, and find possible solutions. Common problems that almost always face the council are how to raise money for the Student Body Fund or how to increase attendance and school spirit at games. The council also discusses improvements that could be made around the school and decides what action should be taken. The council is made up of the student body officers, a faculty advisor, representatives from each class, presidents of the various clubs and the editors of the school paper and yearbook. 18
