F. Paul Bogan Physical Ed. Led by Coach Mrs. Hank Stone and Offensive Capt. Janet Rushton, and Defensive Capt. Sue Morisee, the Women ' s Varsity Field Hockey Team had a record of 6-6-2. They won second place in the State College Tournament. Most of the games were played away, but a choice few were played on the new turf. Under the new coach, Mrs. Stone, the girls learned new techniques in conditioning and a different viewpoint in the game. The team triumphed over Springfield, Central Connecuit, Wesleyan, University of Rhode Island, Mount Holyoke, and the University of Bridgeport. Men ' s Tennis Team members: John Morizio, Tony Delaporte, Tom Quesnel, Zigmund Sieczkowski, Mike Kelly, Bill Gregarian and Tom Damoulakis exhibited their skill by completing their regular season with a 6-1 record.
