DAVID K. BATES A bit of nonsense now and then is relished by the wisesf men. Digger ' s liabilities as a schoolboy turned out to be assets in training, and the terror of the training school proved himself to be a capable teacher. Combining the responsibilities of a family with those of a student, Digger never lost his sense of humor. His industriousness and practical mind point to a promising future in teaching.
