Heredity and Environment Influence Learning The Department of Education offers programs for the prepara- tion of Elementary, Junior High School and Senior High School teachers, supervisors, guidance counselors and administrators. The degree of Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Science in Education and Certificate of Advanced Study are awarded those completing the required curriculum. In 1962 the department Inaugurated a post-master ' s 48-quarter hour pro- gram leading to the Certificate of Advanced Study. A recently installed language laboratory enables students to hear and practice the language outside the class- room as well as in it.
