Science Department Emphasizes Research Various methods of learning were illustrated to students through the efforts of the Seienee Department. Gen- eral Physical Science was offered hy Mrs. Gwen Rogers. Mr. Jimmy San- ders, Mr. Lloyd Seely. and Mrs. Marsha Suher. An understanding of the growth of the United States from the thirteen colonies to a great world power was the subjeet of Ameriean history elasses instrueted by Mr. Dale Walker, Mr. James Thames. and Mr. Gary Swan. Mr. Tom Strother and Mrs. Dor- othy Niesen studied the United States Constitution and laws which were the prime eoneern of government students. Mr. W. B. Cole taught his class the her- itage of Texas eitizens while Mr. Charles Hall instructed his students on the basics of psyehology.
