First and second year algebra, under the direction of Mr. Andy Henderson. Mr. Claude Little, Mrs. Maurine Mullins and Mrs. lmo- gene Williamson, dealt with equations formulas, and theorems. Advanced classes such as trigonometry, elemen- tary analysis, algebra and calculus were instructed by Mrs. Mary Barron, Mrs. Neil Boyd, Mr. Ed Kahler. Science Department Emphasizes Research Various methods of learning were illustrated to students through the efforts of the Seienee Department. Gen- eral Physical Science was offered hy Mrs. Gwen Rogers. Mr. Jimmy San- ders, Mr. Lloyd Seely. and Mrs. Marsha Suher. Biology elasses were taught hy Mrs. Ruth Amend, Mr. Roherl Dixon, and Mrs. Linda Rankin. Chemistry was again instrueted hy Mrs. Mary Lacy.
