Charley's Aunt- slapstiek fun, comedy Charley's Aunt, performed with finesse, agility, and skill by VVesL High thespians, acquired its farcical humor when Lord Dancourt Babberly, a lecherous old man, was cajoled into impersonating Charley's Aunt. In order to be convincing, Lord Bab- berly donned a spinsterish frock over his rolled pants legs, a wig with finger curls, and a frilly bonnet over his eighteenth century side burns. His disguise was so convincing that two eligible gentlemen courted him during an entire afternoon. The part of Lord Babberly was played to the hilt by Greg Kehrerg Mike Morton and Chris XtVurster were the eligible gentlemen: Alice Maxwell and Barb I-Ieisel were their sweetheartsg the real Charley's Aunt was Lynn Lantry and the supporting cast include-d Paul Bailey, Craig McClellan, Sue Sloan, and jerry Neiman. Mike Morion and Chris Wursier pursue a fed-up Charlie's Aunt, Greg Kehrer.

Ernest finds it impossible to propose properly to his lady love as Ma- ma stands sternly over him, expressing a most adamant disapproval. Situation comed - mportanee ot Being Earnest The Importance of Being Earnest, an uproariously funny comedy, concerns the plight of two young men named jack and Algernon who, to please their lady friends, both pretended their names were Ernest. The pretention involved a great deal of confusion when relatives and friends were not let in on the hoax. The parts of the pseudo- Ernests were taken by Dave Altemeier and Greg Kehrer, and their eccentric Sweethearts were played by Barb Heisel and Lynn Kerr. Other members of the cast were Lynn Lantry, Carolyn Haas, Steve Wulff, Jerry Nieman, and Craig McClellan. First in the trilogy of one-act plays, Earnest was heartily received by an attentive audience and set a mood which lasted throughout the singular evening at VVCSICI' n Hills. l l l l l Steve Wultt and Carolyn Haas as spry Rev. Ctiasuble and Miss Prism, interrupt their wintery love attair to consider Cecily's problems. This could be How to succeed in marrying the girl you want, but Jack KD. Altemeieri and Algeron KG. Kehreri try to do it in Ernest.

Teahouse-vvildy funny As the last play of the year, the Dramatics Department presented Teahouse of the August Moon, the excrutiatingly funny story of the Americans Marines' occupation of the island of Okinawa. Amusing incidents developed rapidly as a native interpreter QGreg Kehrerj gave ludicrous translations of military problemsg and the Marine Captain Gini Schoenbergerj , against all regulations, was presented with a beautiful Geisha girl QAlice Maxwellj .
