Patterned after the story of the princehs education, the figures in the first design represent the prince and his teacher. The tree symbolizes the strength and force which the growing prince would need as a ruler of his people.

18 Mr. ArH'iur Haviovic Principal Our Principafs Day Assuming the titles and responsibilities of executive, leader, citizen, employer, repairman, and hobbyist, Mr. Havlovic has set for Western Hills' students an example of authority, dignity, and ability. Known for his amiability, he tactfully coordinates the separate functions of a school into one smoothly running machine. When not solving the schooYs many perplexing problems, he must attend meetings 01 write reports. Humbly representing twenty- cight hundred pupils and over one hundred teachers, Mr. I-Iavlovic graciously welcomes many Visitors to our busy school. In spite of his very busy schedule, Mr. I-Iavlovic finds opportunities in his home life to pursue his mzmy interesting hobbies. A principal's day involves much more fhan book work; Mr. Havlovic is even asked in repair +he candy machine.
