He musi be crealive, precise, alert diplomalic, and efficienr, He should be accurale in every delail and prompl' in carrying oul every responsibilily. Precision lo lhe sixleenlh of an inch is necessary in measuring pholographs and copy blocks. There can be no Jrypographical or grammali- cal errors, S+uden+s and Teachers mus+ be nolilied of piclure schedule several days in advance. Assigned copy musr be wriirlen, checked, and rurned over +o ihe siaiil lypisl prompily. Piclure schedules rnusl be planned lo be Convenienl' for everyone involved. All individual piclures, approximalely 2.800 of ihem, musl be alphabelized and mounled, requiring many hours of parienl' work. Above all, +he really good slaii member nnusl be earneslly concerned wiih doing his parl io produce a yearbook ro be proud of. He musl work long and hard wilh no 'rhoughl oi reward of any kind. His only safisfaclion is lhal which he feels when lhe book is compleied successfully. Hold our student body together and uphold our schoolis name and scholastic standards. Bring worthwhile events to the attention of the students and faculty and promote just causes. With their plattorm as a goal, this year's Breeze Statt began work last tall, Using the invaluable assistance ot the journalism class and the Western l-lills Publishing Company. they achieved an admirable success. Each issue ot the l'Breeze was a result ot hours ot concentrated ettort on the part ot all concerned. Every individual had to consider his own particular iob as being vital to the papers success. Care- lessness on the part ot one member could have been respon- sible tor a complete issue being ruined. Co-editors Ann Stubbs and Karen Springmyer, and advisor, Miss Walters. were constantly on hand to see that the prOdUctiOn PGH smoothly. Because ot the staths love ot writing, loyalty to the school, and desire tor improvement, it was able to pro- duce a year ot delighttul Breeze issues.
