If suc- ceeded in furfhering ifs purposes of sfimulafing school spirif, providing a medium for fhe expression of sfudenf opinion, discussing problems vifal fo fhe whole sfudenf body, and prornofing responsible sfudenf leadership. The Junior and Senior divisions, fhe seven sfanding com- miffees and homeroom represenfafives, working in close har- mony wifh fhe execufive officers, added maferially in achiev- ing The oufsfanding performance of fhis organizafion. Many proiecfs were sponsored for fhe beaufificafion of fhe school, including fhe fradifional Chrisfmas free which cheerfully brighfened fhe fronf hall, Cerfainly everyone will remember fhe gala Vicfory Dance and iunior high sfudenfs will loolc back wifh fond memories on fhe Sweefhearf Dance. Also originafed and sponsored by Sfudenf Council were fhe can- feens following home baslcefball games, which confribufed greafly fo fhe sfimulafion of school spirif and friendly rela- fions befween fhe sfudenfs.
