Miss Elma Mendenhall, Miss Dorothy Smith, and Miss lfVi1ma Deitemeier, seen in the top picture on tliis page, are the efficient household arts teachers, who demonstrate the art of gracious living, and who are also responsible, along with Miss Julia Clark and Miss Laura Fisher, for the beautiful costumes in the l1Vestcrn Hills musical productions. Mr. Charles Stokes, director of instrumental music, and Mr. l'Villis Beckett. director of choral music, appear in the lower picture. Excellent facilities for shop work enable students to acquire skill in the industrial arts. YVe1l equipped laboratories promote interest in scientific investigations, and thorough training in typing, shorthand, bookkeeping, andyallied subjects meets the needs of those students whose interests lie in commerce. Students with artistic leanings also find expression in the school through excellent courses in art and arts and crafts, while future engineers prepare themselves for their vocation in life through the study of mathematics, In the top picture on the opposite page are the industrial arts teachers: Mr. Chester Lambirth, Mr. F.
