After Student Body The Student Council is an organized group of represent- atives from each record room. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Ray Kinnun they meet twice a week to have conferences on the problems of the student body. The Council aids the students by selling bookcovers, being on lunch duty, publicizing dances sponsored by the Western Hi Club, publicizing sports events, and helping at special assemblies. Student Council representatives participate in city-wide groups outside of school such as the Junior Round Table, City-wide Council, Youth Action Council, and I.M.M.S.C. This year, as in previous ones, the Student Council vis- ited our capital is Lansing, Michigan, and had lunch at Mich- igan State University.
