Mr. nd Miss W.H.H. . Let's mini the mini skirts. was the motto of the Western Heights 1968 yearbook campaign. Candidates were chosen by a majority vote from each class. Students voted for their favorite candidates when they purchased their yearbook. Posters of girls with mini skirts were placed in the hall to signify how many yearbooks had been purchased. Each day the number sold was tallied. On a percentage basis, that amount was cut off the mini skirt. When the sales were over, the Seniors had won by a wide mar- gin. Ginny Holcomb and Ted McMahan emceed the 1967-68 yearbook coronation. Brenda Beach and Paul Cain walk proudly to the Mr. and Miss W.H. H.S. throne. Mr. and Miss W, H.H.S. and their attendants: First runners-up, Mike Fairholm and Vicki Standridgeg Second runners-up, Larry Harmon and Carla Shinn.
