Cheerleaders and Junior High School Cheerleaders practiced many hours to help and cheer their team to victory this year. This is the first year for these girls and they did a very fine job. This particular pose certainly helps to show off those bright new uniforms. The Future Homernakers of America, sponsored by Miss Pat Hurst, is in their third year of existence at Western Heights. The FHA is one of the most active organizations in the school. FHA'ers take part in many activities and parties during the school year and throughout the summer. Two years ago the FHA sponsored a career day in which people of different occupations came and spoke to the students. We know that the FHA will continue to be active this year.
