Homecoming 19 5 meant a time of excitement for all: for the very young, the parade and gaily-costumed participants; for the not-so young, a lawn picnic, visits and recollections with long-ago friends, a glimpse of a quickly-changing institution that somehow retains a great deal of the past; for the older young people or the younger old people, a Blood, Sweat and Tears concert, the Homecoming dance, the crowning of the queen, float competition, and perhaps most important of all.
