TREASURER Collecting student fees for tuition, room and board, and supervising the distribution of the college funds, Heyward A. Williams rarely finds time to enjoy the counting-house. As Wesleyan expands, the treasurer ' s role becomes increas- ingly more important. DEAN OF WOMEN Dr. Marion McBrair serves Wesleyan women as a counselor and advises the administration on needed improvements con- cerning women students. DEAN OF STUDENTS Wesleyan ' s Dean of Students, Mr. Richard Cunningham, serves the student body by arranging student housing and acting as advisor concerning extracurric- ular and social activities. DEAN OF MEN As Dean of Men, ' Sam ' Ross ' duties include counseling, Stu- dent Aid, men ' s housing, and maintaining the good conduct of men students. J 1 k 21

VICE-PRESIDENT Having the development of the campus as his principal responsibility, Dr. Robert Nemeschy is in his second year as vice-president of Wesleyan. The long-avi aited erection of the new chapel building began this year, surely a most important phase of our cultural and spiritual development. DEAN OF THE COLLEGE Orlo J. Strunk, Dean of the College, serves as the chief disciplinary officer having as his task to supervise the educational program, and in the selection of faculty personnel, and the co-ordi- nation of faculty and student affairs. Dean Strunk also assists with the editing of the Wesleyan Bulletin as well as publishing books of his own on religion and psychology. ASSISTANT DEAN OF THE COLLEGE Serving as assistant to Dr. Strunk, Dr. Walter Brown co-ordinates many of the student-faculty matters which come to the attention of the busy office of the Dean of the College. Dr. Brown ably serves as Dean Strunks right hand. 20

REGISTRAR Patton L. Nickell began working in the Regis- trar ' s office during his undergraduate days. To- day, as Registrar of Wesleyan, Mr. Nickell is re- sponsible for registering students, scheduling examinations, preparing transcripts, and teaching in the Business Department. DIRECTOR OF CAMPUS CENTER Mr. James Stansbury, Director of the Campus Center, and Mrs. Clifford Summers, Assistant Di- rector are responsible for all activities and de- partments of the Center. CHAPLAIN Wesleyans Chaplain, Dr. Sidney L. Davis, plans chapel services, makes arrangements for speakers, and teaches Bible courses. Reverend Davis also serves as advisor to ex- change students. DIRECTORS OF ADMISSIONS Mr. Raymond Kiser, Director of Admissions, and Mrs. Thelma Kess- ler. Assistant Director of Admissions, select nevi students each year and process their applications for admis- sions. Information about Wesleyan is sent to students throughout the Eastern United States supplemented by many trips to interview prospec- tive students. 22
