Before coining to Wesleyan, Dr. Fleming served on the faculty of Drew Theological Seminary at Madison, New Jersey. He became the Presi- dent of West Virginia Wesleyan College in Au- gust, 1917. Later, in 1922, he became the Presi- dent of Baker University at Baldwin, Kansas, and served there for fifteen years. In 1937 he returned to West Virginia Wesleyan College as Vice-President and since then has been Direc- tor of the Semi-Centennial Campaign for One Million Dollars.
