President—William J. L. Wallace Retiring after 20 years as ‘“‘State’s” President Office of the WEST VIRGINIA STATE COLLEGE INSTITUTE, WEST VIRGINIA 25112 President May 1973 President Dear Members of the West Virginia State College Family: I find saying goodbye a sad experience--for it meang severing ties and relationships that have been formed over a long period of years and that have been very satisfying and rewarding. I have thoroughly enjoyed my challenge of taking the leadership in providing the best possible ingtruction and facilities for the students of West Virginia State College in an atmosphere that is conducive to arousing our desires to view each other with compassion. The time has come for new leadership, and my sadness is tempered by the realization that new ways will be found to further advance all of us along the road to the objective which, in my mind, should be the concept that all men are brothers, illiam J.
