History has been made in the Puget Sound Country-discoveries by explor- ers in the early days-Indian Wars and early settlements -then migration in full swing with wagon route over Naches Pass and sailing vesse-ls bringing new settlers from the East. But this is not the only field of our social studies department. We will remember the days in classrooms where Northwest Industries and U. S. History were taught.
