They finished 2nd in the East Huskers Conference behind a tough Scribner team. This was Coach Reggie Smith's first year of coaching football at WPHS. Highlights included a new conference record by the freshmen mile relay team and a new school record of 10.0 in the 100 yd. dash by Dan Lofgren.
