He has spent 17 years as teacher or administrator. Education is becoming a well-informed and an aware citizen who becomes involved in the running of his country. Education is dealing with people and learning to co-operate with them. Education is being able to understand and solve problems; but education only comes with curiosity and the will to learn. A person must open his mind and must be willing to try new things. Education doesn’t stop after high school or college, but continues through the rest of a person’s life. This year the school bond issue finally passed. Soon a new school will replace the one that has housed the high school for more than fifty years. This new school, with better facilities, will give the students of WPHS a better chance at an education.
