October, 1960: Initiation--We were finally officially accepted as members of the student body after carrying books for senior masters and walking backwards during the day and doing the stunts assigned by the Student Council tonight. At the right the boys do the old familiar stunt of dressing up like a lady at initiation activities. Picking a chicken covered with syrup proved interesting and fun for these four girls. 13

The sophomore class this year has the honor of being the largest class in high school with 49 members. Today we went for the first time to our geometry, biology, English 10, and what-not classes.
