 Every Tuesday and Thursday morning the freshmen boys take part in some form of physical education. If you want to know how to somersault, come down to the gym sometime: Mary Lou will show you how. The freshmen girls seem to enjoy taking exercises in their physical education class. Shop I boys at work on their projects. Mechanical drawing students concentrating on differ ent drawing problems. In the drivers training: class everyone learns how to change a tire besides learning: how to manipulate the steering: apparatus. The “trig:'' class composed of all boys (Ed, Charles, LeRoy, Merle, and Mell) meet twice a week all year with their instructor. Mr. Graham. The second year homemaking: class is learning how to increase their wardrobe through sewing. The geometry class looks as though they thoroughly approve of Mike’s explanation of this problem. on a Voc Ag eid droced ure in clipping — nf clippers.

Most important to journalism students is learning the ways of a journalist, being exact, and making stories interesting. Every other Friday the staff puts out the WEST POINTER. The Patrons’ Night issue and the April Fool edition were extras this year. WEST POINTER Charles Vossberg and Darlene Schmidt mimeograph the WEST POINTER while Warren Davee, looks on wondering what the results will be. CADET STAFF Behind these inked pages stands the staff that made them possible.
