THE 1950 CADET “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players.” For the past year, however, our foremost stage has been the West Point High School. All the boys and girls attending have been members of the cast, and here on this stage we were trained for the various roles which we shall perform in our future life. Because of capable directors and a co-operative cast, we boast of a successful drama. Act I, Activities, which was entertaining as well as educational, offered abundant opportunity to the players to display their talents. Act II, Athletics, was one of the most unforgettable parts of our drama. Although the members of the team had the leads in this act, the entire student body played an active part by giving the team its unwavering support. Act III, School Life, was by far the most profitable and enjoyable of the three acts. Our daily class work increased our knowledge and skills, while parties, dances, and other social events provided the necessary recreation to make this act a smashing success. It is the aim of this, your 1950 Cadet, to present to you a record of the drama of your life as performed here at West Point High School during the 1949-50 school year.
