The Stage Hands Ambitious custodians, who kept the school building shining and helped faculty and students in countless ways, were Henry Berger and Jerry Tomrdle. Mrs. Annie Roberts, Mrs. John Ropers, and Mrs. Laura Johnson were the cooks who prepared the nourishing and tasty noon lunches which were served daily to a cast of nearly two hundred hungry pupils and teachers. Mrs. Olive Zimmerman, who replaced Mrs. Roberts, is not pictured. Page 8

Front Office Staff Darlene Henry, an honor student of the class of ’49, is shown at left performing one of her tasks. Into her willing and capable hands have fallen the many and varied duties of an office stenographer. Helping Darlene as office assistants were Helen Humrich, Donna Beckenbauer, Maxine Henry, (Darlene, standing), Fern Schmidt, Madeline Watson, Bonnie Meier, and Gretchen Pagels.
