The Cadets' record was marred with only one defeat by Walthill. The season's games, packed with thrills for the fans and players, are given above. Bill Strube, Paul Sorenson, Merlin Erickson, Duane Benne, Glenwood Rush, Dale Benne, Arlie Dicknite, Ivan Stratton, and Donald Wall. The high spot of the season was the game with Stanton. The Cadets battled with the strong Stanton eleven in a closely-contested game and came out on top by the score of 12 to 7. This game was to decide the winner o f the Husker Conference; but due to the cancellation of games, the Cadets were not able to gain the title. —25—
